Summary




  • We are looking for a strategic, results-driven, and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and oversee the organization's finance function.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing robust financial and operational strategies, ensuring sound financial planning and reporting, strengthening internal controls, and driving effective risk management.

  • The CFO will provide strategic financial leadership, deliver accurate and timely financial reports to executive management and other stakeholders, and support the achievement of the organization's long-term business objectives through effective financial governance and operational excellence.



Job Responsibilities




  • Design and implement financial strategies, plans and procedures.

  • Manage the accounting, business performance, tax and treasury elements of the Department.

  • Plan, monitor and oversee the financial operations of CCP’s finance services.

  • Develop performance measures that support the Group's strategic direction.

  • Protect and preserve corporate assets through the application of globally consistent costing and control techniques which are in accordance with IFRS.

  • Oversee issuance of financial information & report on financial results to the Board of Directors.

  • Coordinate the preparation of the corporate Annual Report.

  • Manage any outsourced financial activities / relationships.

  • Maintain banking relationships and represent the Group with investors.

  • Participate in conference calls with the investment community.

  • Understand and mitigate key elements of CCP's risk profile.

  • Construct and monitor reliable control systems.

  • Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors.

  • Maintain relations with external auditors, investigate their findings and recommendations.

  • Ensure that CCP complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of government and regulatory agencies.

  • Plan, allocate and assess resource and individuals’ performance in accordance with skills and schedules for all finance related tasks.



Requirements




  • A good first degree in Accounting, Finance or any Social Sciences. MBA will be an added advantage.

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance and Strategy.

  • Associate membership of ICAN, ACCA, CPA or CFA designation is required.

  • Senior Management.

  • Good organizational and management skills.

  • Forecasting, cost and budget management skills.

  • Strong financial and management accounting, tax and treasury management skills.

  • Written and oral communication.

  • Up to date knowledge of accounting regulations.

  • Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Diligent with strong attention to detail and sound decision making.

  • Ability to establish and meet deadlines.

  • personal productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & accounting software.
