We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to provide cost estimation, quantity measurement, contract administration, and commercial support for oil & gas projects.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), managing project costs, evaluating contractor claims, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and quantity take-offs from engineering drawings.
Develop cost estimates, budgets, and monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and support contract administration.
Assess variations, contractor claims, interim valuations, and final accounts.
Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and commercial performance reports.
Verify completed work quantities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Liaise with project teams, contractors, consultants, and clients on commercial matters.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
8–10 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within Oil & Gas, EPC/EPIC, or industrial projects.
Strong experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and claims management.
Knowledge of FIDIC contracts, procurement processes, and tender evaluations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CostX, Candy, Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar QS software is an advantage.
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
