Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and grow assets under management (AUM).
- Identify and pursue new market segments and partnership opportunities.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional and high-net-worth clients.
- Deliver tailored investment solutions to meet client needs.
Product Development:
- Collaborate with investment teams to design and market new financial products.
- Ensure products align with regulatory requirements and client objectives.
Market Intelligence:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Provide insights to inform strategic decisions.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the business development team.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on results and client satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 7 years’ experience in business development within asset management, investment banking, or financial services.
- Track Record: Proven track record of client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Nigerian capital markets and SEC regulations.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
