Role Summary




  • The Managing Director will provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the firm’s asset management operations.

  • This role involves driving business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing investment strategies, and fostering strong relationships with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.

  • The MD will represent the firm as an SEC- sponsored individual and lead the development of innovative financial products and services.



Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:




  • Develop and execute the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategy.

  • Identify new business opportunities and drive market expansion.



Investment & Portfolio Management:




  • Oversee asset allocation, portfolio performance, and risk management.

  • Implement investment strategies to maximize returns for clients.



Regulatory Compliance:




  • Ensure full compliance with SEC regulations and corporate governance standards.

  • Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations.



Business Development:




  • Build and maintain relationships with investors, clients, and key stakeholders.

  • Drive client acquisition and retention strategies.



Operational Excellence:




  • Lead and mentor senior management and investment teams.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, integrity, and performance.



Qualifications & Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

  • MBA or Master’s Degree (preferred).

  • Must be an SEC Sponsored Individual, approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in asset management, investment banking, or related financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian capital markets and compliance frameworks.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
