Key Responsibilities
- Stock Monitoring & Control: Track movement, reconcile physical counts with database records, and identify discrepancies.
- Receiving & Inspection: Inspect incoming goods for quantity and quality against purchase orders.
- Record Keeping: Update inventory software (e.g., ERP systems) and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation.
- Warehouse Management: Organize stock efficiently, ensuring safe storage and implementing security measures to prevent damage or theft.
- Reporting: Generate daily/monthly reports on inventory levels, turnover, and aging items.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Common Qualifications required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems.
- Attention to Detail: Highly organized with strong accuracy in numerical tracking.
- Communication: Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate with suppliers and staff.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials if required.
