About the Role
- The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the logistics arm of Remedial Health. You will coordinate the transportation and delivery of products across all 36 states in Nigeria
Job Description
- Planning and implementing logistical strategy that increases efficiency and speed from start to finish of the entire process
- Devise and implement methods for optimum driver performance
- Monitor drivers on their trips and give relevant assistance where needed
- Solving delivery related issues with customers when needed
- Keeping accurate records of all deliveries, processes and performance of team members
- Making use of software to track goods from pick up to delivery
- A key part in improving the overall supply chain performance by coming up with innovations to the process
- Submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to management
- Implementing new technologies and keeping abreast of new trends in the sector
- To succeed in this role, you should:
- Be a self-starter and target driven
- Possess strong analytical, organizational and communication (writing and verbal) skills
- Have Intermediate IT skills
- Have a logical and systematic approach to work
Person Specification
- Minimum of 5 years’ work experience (at least 2 years in supply chain)
- Experience in a Transport and Logistics role
- Experience in a reputable transportation company is a strong advantage
