We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) to take overall command of one of our offshore installations.
The OIM holds ultimate responsibility for the safety, operational integrity, and performance of the installation, acting as the senior authority on board at all times.
This is a critical leadership position requiring strong emergency response command, sound operational judgment, and the ability to coordinate multi-discipline teams in a high-pressure offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities
Hold overall command and responsibility for the safety of all personnel and operations on the installation
Act as the highest authority during emergencies, including fires, well control incidents, medical evacuations, and severe weather events
Lead emergency response drills and ensure emergency response plans are rigorously followed
Oversee and coordinate drilling, production, maintenance, and logistics activities across all teams and contractors
Ensure strict compliance with the installation's safety case and all applicable offshore safety regulations
Authorize and oversee permit-to-work systems and high-risk operations
Manage crew welfare, rotations, and personnel logistics (helicopter/boat transfers)
Serve as the primary liaison between the installation and onshore management, regulators, and emergency services
Maintain accurate operational records, incident reports, and regulatory documentation
Requirements
Significant offshore experience in a senior supervisory role (e.g., Production Supervisor, Drilling Supervisor, Senior Toolpusher, or Platform Supervisor)
Proven track record of operational leadership and emergency command in an offshore environment
Strong working knowledge of offshore safety case regulations and permit-to-work systems
