Project: Hands for Health Project 



Locations: Maiduguri & Jere LGAs, Borno State, Nigeria 



Contract Duration: August 2026 – October 2027 (On-call / Need-basis) 



Primary Objectives 



Selected enumerators will support the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) team by: 




  • Executing high-quality, mobile-based primary data collection using KoboToolbox / KoboCollect. 

  • Collecting robust field data to track project indicators, milestones, and hygiene behavior change metrics. 

  • Assessing beneficiary satisfaction, protection concerns, and trust in service delivery through structured surveys . 

  • Adhering strictly to Tdh Safeguarding Policies and "Do No Harm" principles during all community interactions. 



Key Responsibilities 




  • Administer quantitative and qualitative surveys (individual, household, school-level, and key informant interviews) using mobile data collection tools. 

  • Ensure daily data cleaning, verification, and real-time synchronization/upload to the KoboToolbox server. 

  • Facilitate respectful, culturally sensitive interactions with beneficiaries, school administrators, children, and community leaders. 

  • Uphold Tdh Data Protection standards during all field activities 

  • Abide by and uphold Tdh's Child Safeguarding and Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH) policies throughout all field deployments. 

  • Report daily progress, field constraints, and contextual challenges to the supervising MEAL Officer. 



Required Qualifications & Experience 




  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 

  • Technical Skills: Experience in mobile data collection tools  

  • Field Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience conducting field data collection, baseline/endline assessments, or post-distribution monitoring (PDM) in humanitarian/development contexts in Borno State. 

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and local languages spoken in Maiduguri/Jere (e.g., Hausa, Kanuri). 

  • Local Context: Strong understanding of the socio-cultural, geographic, and security context of Maiduguri and Jere LGAs.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and navigate challenging field conditions. 

  • Demonstrated understanding of humanitarian ethics, AAP, and child protection principles.
