We are seeking a proactive, organised, and results-driven Program Officer to support the planning, coordination, implementation, and documentation of the organisation's programmes and activities.



Key Responsibilities




  • Support the planning and implementation of programmes, projects, and school activities.

  • Coordinate programme activities, schedules, logistics, and stakeholders.

  • Monitor programme progress and ensure activities are delivered according to agreed plans.

  • Maintain accurate programme records, reports, attendance, and documentation.

  • Support communication and coordination with beneficiaries, partners, facilitators, volunteers, and other stakeholders.

  • Assist with programme monitoring, evaluation, and data collection.

  • Prepare programme updates, activity reports, and other required documentation.

  • Support the organisation of workshops, trainings, events, campaigns, and other programme activities.

  • Identify operational challenges and recommend practical solutions.

  • Ensure programme activities comply with organisational policies and procedures.

  • Support budgeting, procurement, and resource planning for programme activities where required.

  • Perform other programme-related duties as assigned.



Requirements




  • Minimum of OND/NCE; a Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in programme coordination, project management, education, NGO, or a related environment.

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders effectively.

  • Strong documentation, reporting, and record-keeping skills.

  • Proactive, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Experience working with young people, schools, NGOs, or community-based programmes is an advantage.
