Job Summary 

• Online Foodstuff Store Ltd. is looking for a Price Sourcing Officer to join our team in Abuja.


• The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and sourcing competitive and up-to-date market prices for products, monitoring price movements, and providing accurate pricing information to support purchasing and sales decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily/regular market research to obtain current prices of products.


• Source and compare prices from different vendors and markets.


• Maintain an updated database of product and vendor prices.


• Identify competitive pricing opportunities and significant price changes.


• Verify vendor quotations and submitted prices before procurement.


• Provide timely price reports to the Purchasing/Supply Chain and Management teams.


• Build and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and market contacts.


• Monitor market trends and identify factors affecting product prices.

Requirements

• HND / Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field.


• 1–3 years' experience in price sourcing, procurement, purchasing, market research, or a similar role.


• Strong knowledge of local markets and product pricing.


• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.


• Good Excel/Google Sheets skills.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.


• Experience in FMCG, foodstuff, retail, or e-commerce is an advantage.
