Key Responsibilities

• Control and monitor generators, and auxiliary equipment.


• Distribute power among generators.


• Regulate output from generators.


• Solid expertise in electric motors, electrical and mechanical technical skills


• Operation of generator panels


• Good knowledge of computerized maintenance system


• Perform preventive maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair of generator systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of trade test 1-3 certification.


• 2+ years of experience as a generator operator in a facility management sector is preferred.


• Knowledge of AC / DC power.


• Service generators with oil changes.


• Must demonstrate technical knowledge of electrical generator systems and related engine mechanical failures.


• Ability use specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.


• Good observation skills.


• Very good organizational skills.


• Very good communication skills.
