Jeroid Ltd is seeking a talented Flutter Engineer to join our Engineering Team and contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications for our fintech ecosystem.

The successful candidate will work closely with backend engineers, product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other members of the engineering team to build reliable mobile products and features.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.


• Build and maintain scalable mobile features for Jeroid's fintech products.


• Translate UI/UX designs and product requirements into functional mobile experiences.


• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services.


• Implement secure authentication, payment, wallet, trading, and transaction-related features where applicable.


• Work with backend engineers to define and consume APIs effectively.


• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.


• Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.


• Implement responsive interfaces across different mobile devices and screen sizes.


• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.


• Write and maintain unit, widget, and integration tests.


• Identify and resolve production issues and application bugs.


• Work with QA engineers to investigate and resolve defects.


• Contribute to CI/CD and mobile application release processes.


• Stay updated with Flutter, Dart, mobile development, and security best practices.


• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.


• Maintain proper technical documentation.


• Perform other engineering duties assigned by the Engineering Lead.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


• 2–4 years of professional experience developing mobile applications with Flutter.


• Strong proficiency in Dart and Flutter.


• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and state management.


• Experience integrating REST APIs.


• Good understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows.


• Experience with Firebase and/or similar mobile backend services is an advantage.


• Understanding of mobile security and secure data handling.


• Experience with automated testing is an advantage.


• Good understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive mobile design.


• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced product/fintech environment.
