Job Description

•  The role provides legal and commercial advice to support the business and mitigates risks in transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal & commercial advisory to businesses & functions


• Legal drafting


• Review and negotiate contracts drafting and review.


• Undertake research to support advisory.


• Facilitate periodic review of laws and regulations. 


• Provide support for special groupwide projects – Transaction advisory for mergers, acquisitions & divestitures, due diligences etc.


• Any other tasks assigned by Line Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in law (minimum of Second Class Lower).


• At least 5 years related experience


• Strong knowledge of corporate commercial legal practice 


• Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.


• Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail.


• Critical thinker and problem solver


• Professionalism and high ethical standards


• Great team player to support cohesive operations in the Legal 


• Sound knowledge of Microsoft office applications 


• Good written & verbal communication skills.
