Job Summary




  • The Digital Media Manager is responsible for ensuring our brand and digital content travels, resonates, and drives impact across all current and future audiences. This role blends creative storytelling, technical digital marketing expertise, and data-led growth strategy to scale our digital reach, deepen engagement, and grow adoption across social platforms, audio and video streaming platforms, and the organisation’s mobile app. You will work cross-functionally with the IT Department, Communications team, paid media partners, and a growing community of volunteers, using AI and smart digital tools to drive measurable results.



Job Details



Audience Growth & Content Distribution




  • Ensure content reaches and resonates with all target audiences, both where we are today and where we want to go

  • Optimise content formats, language, tone, and messaging for different audiences, platforms, and regions

  • Lead language and content optimisation strategies to serve new and emerging audiences

  • Oversee content localisation and adaptation across platforms



Digital Marketing & Performance




  • Own and manage all digital advertising (paid social, search, display, app install campaigns)

  • Lead SEO strategy including on-page SEO, technical SEO, keyword strategy, and content optimisation

  • Drive organic and paid growth across web, social, app, audio, and video platforms

  • Plan, execute, and optimise campaigns focused on downloads, engagement, retention, and conversion



Audio, Video & App Growth




  • Drive growth in audio and video streaming platforms, including listens, watch time, and retention

  • Collaborate with IT to operationalise and continuously improve the organisation’s mobile app

  • Lead initiatives to increase app downloads, onboarding success, and daily active usage

  • Use data and user behaviour insights to recommend product and UX improvements



AI, Tools & Optimisation




  • Use AI tools and marketing technology to improve content creation, targeting, optimisation, and reporting

  • Implement smart automation for campaign management, testing, and performance tracking

  • Continuously test new tools, platforms, and growth tactics



Data, Insights & Reporting




  • Define and track KPIs across reach, engagement, growth, retention, and ROI

  • Analyse performance using tools like GA4 and platform analytics

  • Translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations

  • Report performance and growth trends to leadership



Leadership & Collaboration




  • Coordinate and mentor a community of digital and media volunteers

  • Provide clear briefs, standards, and quality control for content and campaigns

  • Collaborate closely with Communications, IT, and creative teams

  • Ensure consistent brand and message quality across all digital touchpoints



Requirements



Technical Skills & Knowledge (Required)



This role requires strong hands-on digital expertise, including:




  • Social media platforms and algorithms (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn)

  • Paid media platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, YouTube Ads, app install campaigns)

  • SEO (technical SEO, on-page optimisation, keyword research, content SEO)

  • Web analytics and reporting (GA4, Search Console, platform insights)

  • App analytics and growth metrics (downloads, DAU/MAU, retention, funnels)

  • Content management systems (CMS) and basic website optimisation

  • Email marketing and automation tools

  • AI tools for content creation, optimisation, insights, and automation

  • A/B testing, experimentation, and conversion rate optimisation (CRO)



Experience & Profile




  • 4–7 years’ experience in digital media, digital marketing, or growth roles

  • Proven experience driving measurable growth and engagement through digital content

  • Strong balance of creativity and analytical thinking

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical and creative teams

  • Experience coordinating contributors or volunteer communities

  • Passionate about digital marketing, content, SEO, growth, and innovation

  • Highly organised, proactive, and impact-driven
