- Monitor and support teachers’ lesson planning and classroom practices.
- Promote innovative teaching strategies and academic excellence.
- Analyze student performance data and implement improvement plans.
Staff Supervision & Development
- Recruit, hire, and evaluate teachers and support staff.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and positive staff culture.
- Manage staff schedules, assignments, and performance reviews.
Student Management
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and discipline of all students.
- Oversee student admissions, attendance, and academic progress.
- Promote student leadership, extracurricular activities, and positive behavior.
Administration & Operations
- Manage school budgets, resources, and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and educational policies.
- Coordinate school timetables, events, and communication.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and the school board.
- Build partnerships with community organizations and local authorities.
- Represent the school at meetings, events, and external activities.
Strategic Planning
- Set school-wide goals and develop long-term improvement plans.
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Lead initiatives that enhance the school’s reputation and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Teaching certification and/or administrative license (depending on region).
- Several years of teaching and school leadership experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
