Job Description

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Economics and account according to the approved curriculum.


• Teach microeconomics, macroeconomics, business economics, and related topics.


• Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching aids that make economic principles easy to understand.


• Prepare students for internal and external examinations (WAEC, NECO, IGCSE where applicable).


• Assess, record, and report on students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.


• Encourage students to think critically about economic issues, policies, and real-world applications.


• Integrate ICT tools, charts, and case studies into lessons to enhance learning outcomes.


• Supervise class projects, debates, and discussions on economic and social issues.


• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, motivating learning environment.


• Collaborate with colleagues and management to improve teaching and learning standards.
