Teaching & Instruction
- Plan and teach lessons in History, Government, and Christian Religious Studies.
- Explain historical events, political concepts, and biblical teachings clearly.
- Use storytelling, discussions, and real-life examples to make lessons engaging.
- Teach students moral values, civic duties, and social responsibilities.
Curriculum & Lesson Planning
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
- Prepare schemes of work, notes, instructional materials, and teaching aids.
- Select suitable historical case studies, government topics, and bible passages.
- Integrate technology, debates, and projects to enrich learning.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Prepare and administer tests, quizzes, and examinations.
- Evaluate students’ performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records and prepare progress reports.
- Identify learning challenges and support students in weak areas.
Classroom Management
- Create a respectful, disciplined, and positive learning environment.
- Manage student behavior using appropriate and positive strategies.
- Encourage participation through debates, group work, and presentations.
Student Support & Development
- Guide students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Mentor students on moral conduct, leadership, and civic engagement.
- Support students preparing for internal and external examinations.
Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate regularly with parents about students’ progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school activities.
Professional Responsibilities
- Maintain professionalism and uphold school policies at all times.
- Stay updated with current events, political developments, and biblical teachings.
- Promote cultural understanding, peace, and moral values.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in History, Political Science, CRS, Education, or related field.
- Teaching certificate or relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of historical facts, government systems, and Christian doctrine.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
