Job Description
Duties
- Perform housekeeping jobs to keep the workshop and tools in proper order.
- Receive phone calls for seminar.
- Prepare a log of work done.
- Prepare solar panel installation.
- Help repair oven.
- Help in maintenance of basic laboratory equipment.
- Set up sound system at Conference center and other locations.
- Coordinate sound system during functions and seminars.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Electronics, Trade Test 1-Electronics Works, or a related field, with at least two (2) years of relevant work experience.
Competencies:
The ideal candidate must have:
- Good practical knowledge of electronics and electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Practical knowledge of solar PV installation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to assist in the maintenance and repair of basic laboratory and electronic equipment.
- Good practical skills in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting sound/PA systems and audio-visual equipment.
- Ability to use electronic test instruments, hand tools, and workshop equipment effectively and safely.
- Good fault-finding, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate work logs, maintenance records, and basic technical reports.
- Good knowledge of workshop, electrical, electronics, and equipment safety practices.
- Good communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions and procedures, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, discipline, and willingness to learn.
