Job Summary




  • We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Administrative Officer to join our growing team at the Head Office in Surulere, Lagos State.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative and financial operations of Chelis Group and its sister companies, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and the smooth running of office activities.

  • The ideal candidate should possess strong administrative, organizational, and record-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • The role involves managing administrative processes, supporting financial transactions, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.



Key Responsibilities




  • Manage general office operations, supplies, correspondence, and filing systems.

  • Support basic accounting functions, including invoicing, expense tracking, and petty cash management.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and administrative records.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other business documentation as required.

  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

  • Liaise with vendors, service providers, and external partners to ensure office needs are met efficiently.

  • Assist in monitoring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Drive on official assignments when required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the office.



Requirements




  • B.Sc./HND in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Minimum of two (2) years post-NYSC work experience in administrative and accounting roles.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.

  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Residence within close proximity or reasonable commuting distance to Bode Thomas, Surulere, Lagos State will be an added advantage.

  • Willingness to work two (2) Saturdays per month.
