Job Summary




  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Inventory Manager to oversee stock management across the company's operations.

  • The successful candidate will ensure accurate inventory records, proper stock movement, timely stock counts, and effective control of inventory losses and discrepancies.



Key Responsibilities




  • Maintain accurate records of all stock received, sold, transferred, returned, or damaged.

  • Receive and verify products against invoices and delivery documents.

  • Monitor stock levels across branches and ensure timely replenishment.

  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.

  • Track and document inter-branch stock transfers.

  • Identify and investigate stock shortages, excesses, damages, and discrepancies.

  • Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and obsolete products.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly inventory reports for Management.

  • Ensure proper storage and organisation of products.

  • Work with the Accountant and Branch Managers to reconcile inventory and sales records.

  • Implement measures to reduce stock losses, theft, damages, and revenue leakage.

  • Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions.

  • Support inventory audits and other stock-related activities.

  • Perform other duties assigned by Management.



Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)




  • Inventory record accuracy.

  • Reduction in stock shortages and unexplained variances.

  • Timely completion of stock counts and reports.

  • Accuracy of stock transfers and adjustments.

  • Reduction in damaged, lost, and obsolete stock.

  • Proper documentation of inventory transactions.

  • Compliance with inventory procedures and controls.



Requirements




  • OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

  • 2–3 years of experience in inventory, stock control, warehouse, or retail operations.

  • Experience in electronics or multi-branch retail is an advantage.

  • Good knowledge of inventory management and stock reconciliation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.

  • Strong numerical, organisational, and analytical skills.

  • High attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
