Job Summary
- Responsible for leading architectural design and project delivery, ensuring that designs meet client requirements, technical standards, building regulations, quality expectations, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and development of architectural projects from concept to completion.
- Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, layouts, and design documents.
- Coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP, civil, and other engineering disciplines.
- Supervise and guide Architects, CAD Technicians, and junior design staff.
- Review construction drawings and ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor construction quality and adherence to approved designs.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Review shop drawings, material submissions, samples, and technical proposals.
- Identify design issues and provide practical and cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and professional standards.
- Monitor project progress and support timely delivery of design and construction activities.
- Assist with project proposals, presentations, tenders, and design documentation.
- Maintain accurate project records and ensure proper documentation throughout the project.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Professional registration with ARCON or relevant professional body.
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant architectural experience, preferably in building or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D modelling, and other relevant design software.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction methods, building regulations, and technical documentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
