Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shelling Mechanic to join our production team in Ibafo.


• The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of shelling machines and other mechanical equipment used in a cashew processing plant.


• The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working with shelling or similar processing machinery.

Requirements

• Minimum of an OND, Technical Certificate, or Trade Test in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.


• 2–7 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanic, preferably within a Cashew Processing Plant or Agro-Allied/Food Processing Industry.


• Proven experience maintaining and repairing shelling machines or similar processing machinery.


• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machine components, tools, and maintenance practices.


• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical faults and resolve machine breakdowns effectively.


• Practical knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.


• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to machine breakdowns.


• Good attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.


• Ability to work effectively with production and maintenance teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidates with direct experience working on shelling machines in a cashew processing plant will be strongly preferred. Experience with other agricultural or food-processing machinery may also be considered where the candidate demonstrates strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
