Process Piping and Installation Limited (PPI) is currently seeking a competent, responsible, and experienced Driver to join our team in Lagos.



This is an immediate vacancy, and the successful candidate must be ready and available to resume immediately



Salary



₦160,000 – ₦180,000 monthly, depending on experience and suitability.



Key Responsibilities




  • Drive the company's MAN Truck (1999 model) safely and responsibly as the primary assigned vehicle.

  • Operate both manual and automatic vehicles confidently.

  • Transport personnel, materials, equipment, and other items as assigned.

  • Comply fully with all applicable traffic laws, road signs, and highway safety regulations.

  • Conduct routine pre-trip checks on the vehicle, including tyres, brakes, lights, engine fluids, and other critical components.

  • Report vehicle faults, defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.

  • Ensure that loads are properly secured before commencing any journey.

  • Maintain appropriate trip and vehicle-related records where required.

  • Practice safe and defensive driving at all times.

  • Carry out other driving-related duties as assigned by management.



Requirements




  • Must possess a valid Nigerian Driver's Licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven.

  • Must have proven professional driving experience, particularly with commercial/heavy-duty vehicles.

  • Previous experience driving a MAN Truck is highly desirable and will be a major advantage.

  • Must be able to confidently drive both manual and automatic vehicles.

  • Must have a strong understanding of traffic rules, road signs, and highway safety regulations.

  • Must have basic knowledge of vehicle checks and safety procedures.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

  • Must have good knowledge of Lagos roads and routes.

  • Must demonstrate punctuality, reliability, discipline, and professionalism.

  • Must be physically fit and capable of carrying out the responsibilities of the role.

  • Must be available and ready to resume immediately.**



Preferred Location



Applicants should preferably reside within or close to the Ikeja axis, including:




  • Ikeja

  • Agege

  • Oshodi

  • and other nearby areas with reasonable access to Ikeja.



Applicants residing considerably far from the Ikeja axis may not be considered due to the operational requirements and early resumption expectations of the role.
