Job Summary



We seek the service of an experienced professional to work with us an a Chief Financial Officer.



The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will provide strategic financial leadership and oversee the Bank’s financial planning, reporting, budgeting, treasury, liquidity, risk management, and regulatory compliance functions.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute the Bank’s financial strategy.

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and management accounts.

  • Monitor profitability, liquidity, capital position, and financial performance.

  • Drive cost optimization, revenue growth, and financial efficiency.

  • Oversee treasury, cash flow, and asset/liability management.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, and tax requirements.

  • Strengthen financial controls and manage financial risks.

  • Liaise with auditors, regulators, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to Executive Management and the Board.

  • Lead and develop the Finance and Accounts team.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification required.

  • Master’s degree is an added advantage.

  • Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience, including senior management experience.

  • Strong experience in banking, microfinance, fintech, or other regulated financial institutions.

  • Proven track record in financial management, reporting, budgeting, treasury, and regulatory compliance.
