About the Role



Kaplen International Community School is seeking a qualified, passionate, and experienced English Language Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing learners' proficiency in English Language, with a strong focus on effective communication, reading, writing, grammar, comprehension, and vocabulary.



Key Responsibilities




  • Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured English Language lessons.

  • Develop learners' reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, comprehension, and communication skills.

  • Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, assignments, classwork, and assessments.

  • Assess learners' progress and provide constructive feedback.

  • Encourage learners to communicate confidently and effectively.

  • Use creative and learner-centred teaching strategies to make lessons engaging and impactful.

  • Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.

  • Support learners with different abilities and learning needs.

  • Integrate appropriate technology and modern teaching strategies into classroom instruction.

  • Work collaboratively with other educators and contribute to the school's academic programmes.



Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree or NCE in English Language, Education, or a relevant discipline.

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a reputable school.

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.

  • Strong knowledge of the relevant English Language curriculum.

  • Excellent classroom management and lesson delivery skills.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

  • Ability to develop learners' confidence in speaking and writing.

  • Proficiency in using modern teaching methods and digital tools.

  • Passion for teaching and commitment to learners' academic and personal development.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a professional teaching team.
