Job Summary / Business Need
- The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing IT operations and providing effective technical support.
Responsibilities
- Provide frontline technical support for laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and ERP systems to ensure minimal downtime and uninterrupted business operations.
- Oversee all IT-related activities at the site.
- Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices, including OS deployment, system upgrades, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve software, login, and Active Directory access issues.
- Support network and shared printers, including driver configuration and scan-to-email/folder troubleshooting.
- Provide first-line ERP support, resolving user access issues and transaction errors while escalating system bugs when necessary (SAP and other business applications).
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and email configuration (Google environment).
- Log and resolve incidents through a helpdesk system, ensuring SLA compliance and user satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, and VPN access.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- CompTIA A+.
- Microsoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator and Google Platforms.
- ITIL Foundation (for service management environments).
- 3–5 years of experience in end-user technical support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for laptops, desktops, printers, and scanners.
- Hands-on experience with Windows OS installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Experience managing user accounts in Active Directory.
- Basic understanding of networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, VPN).
