Job Summary
- The Hotel Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services for hotel guests, management, and staff.
- The driver will operate hotel vehicles responsibly, maintain the vehicle in good condition, and ensure timely transportation while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport hotel guests, staff, and management to designated destinations.
- Provide airport pickup and drop-off services for guests when required.
- Transport guests to business meetings, tourist attractions, restaurants, and other locations as assigned.
- Ensure guests receive friendly, professional, and respectful service at all times.
- Conduct daily checks of the vehicle, including fuel, oil, tires, brakes, lights, and other essential components.
- Keep hotel vehicles clean, presentable, and in good operating condition.
- Observe all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and hotel transportation policies.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Report vehicle faults, accidents, damages, or maintenance requirements promptly to management.
- Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage when necessary.
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure punctual arrival and departure.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding hotel guests and their activities.
- Assist the hotel team with transportation-related duties as required.
- Ensure hotel vehicles are securely parked when not in use.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Hotel Manager or Operations Supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
- Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic conditions.
- Excellent driving and road-safety skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Courteous, reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with guests.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and shifts when required.
