Job Description

• The successful candidates will provide specialist medical care within their respective fields, supporting accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, patient safety, and high-quality clinical outcomes.


• You will work closely with other doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and hospital management as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.


• Manage patients within your area of specialty in accordance with accepted clinical standards.


• Review investigations and provide appropriate clinical interpretation.


• Participate in multidisciplinary patient management where required.


• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.


• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical governance initiatives.


• Provide professional guidance and mentorship where applicable.


• Maintain high standards of ethics, professionalism, confidentiality, and patient-centred care.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.


• Recognized postgraduate specialist qualification in the relevant specialty.


• Current registration and licence to practise with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).


• Relevant clinical experience as a specialist/consultant.


• Strong clinical judgement and communication skills.


• Commitment to patient-centred care and professional excellence.


• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
