Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, learner-centred lessons that meet students’ diverse learning needs.


• Apply effective and innovative teaching methods that promote critical thinking, creativity, and active learning.


• Assess, monitor, and document students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.


• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and relevant stakeholders to support students’ academic and personal development.


• Maintain a safe, disciplined, inclusive, and conducive classroom environment that promotes effective learning.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree or NCE in Mathematics or a related field from a recognised institution.


• 2–10 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably at the Primary School level.


• TRCN certification, or evidence of ongoing TRCN certification or relevant education qualification.


• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver effective, results-oriented lessons.


• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and support learners.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
