Responsibilities




  • The Sales Agent role at Gbovo is a full-time, hybrid position based in Lagos, with some flexibility for work from home.

  • The Sales Agent will identify and engage prospective customers, explain Gbovo’s auto loan, insurance, and investment offerings, and guide clients through application and onboarding processes.

  • This role involves managing a sales pipeline, conducting follow-up calls and meetings, and maintaining accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.

  • The Sales Agent will provide customer support before and after the sale, handle inquiries and basic issue resolution, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

  • The role also includes participating in sales training, staying informed about product updates, and meeting individual and team sales targets.



Qualifications




  • Relevant B.Sc. or Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is an advantage; prior experience in financial services or automotive sales is a plus.

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with diverse customers and stakeholders.

  • Proven Customer Service abilities, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and relationship-building.

  • 2-3 years post-NYSC experience

  • Demonstrated Sales experience or aptitude, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.

  • Basic understanding of Insurance products or willingness to learn and apply insurance-related concepts.

  • Interest or experience in Training, both in receiving product/sales training and sharing knowledge with peers or clients.

  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Lagos, manage time effectively, and use digital tools (CRM systems, email, spreadsheets).

  • Goal-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
