Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate building construction activities on site.
- Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, materials, labour and site activities.
- Identify construction issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building standards.
- Prepare site reports and maintain proper project documentation.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling and cost control.
- Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines and quality requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Building Engineering, Building Technology or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ relevant experience in building construction, real estate development or project management.
- Professional registration with COREN or other relevant professional body is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of building construction methods, materials, specifications and building regulations.
- Proven experience in site supervision, quality control and construction coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and relevant construction/project management software.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and project coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
