Description

• We are seeking a qualified and experienced Construction Foreman to oversee day-to-day site operations for ongoing construction projects.


• The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising site workers, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications, and enforcing safety and quality standards on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Common duties include:

• Coordinating daily tasks in accordance with project priorities and plans


• Adjusting daily work plans due to weather, delayed supplies, or staffing issues


• Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew, members and contractors


• Recruiting, hiring, training, managing, and mentoring employees and contractors


• Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs


• Inspecting daily work completed to ensure it aligns with blueprints and schematics


• Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures


• Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards


• Regularly reporting project status to supervisors and site engineers

Requirements

• HND/B.Sc. in Building Technology, Construction Management, or related discipline


• At least 3 years of experience supervising construction activities


• CORBON registration


• HSE Level 1–3 Certification (or active process)


• Strong reading and interpretation of architectural/structural drawings


• Leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills


• Proficient in site documentation and reporting


• Must be physically fit and willing to work under pressure on fast-paced sites
