Job Summary




  • As the Investment Analyst, you will support the investment function through market research, financial modelling, valuation, investment analysis, and recommendations to support sound investment decisions.



Responsibilities




  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities, monitor market trends, and assess potential risks and returns.

  • Build financial models and perform valuation analysis to evaluate the financial viability and attractiveness of potential investments.

  • Develop investment proposals, reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients, senior management, and relevant investment committees.

  • Monitor investment performance, portfolio trends, and market developments while identifying emerging opportunities and potential risks.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support investment decision-making and execution.

  • Stay current with financial markets, industry developments, regulations, and investment best practices.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, financial analysis, investment banking, asset management, or a similar role.

  • Strong background in Finance/Investment Banking, with good understanding of financial markets and investment principles.

  • Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, Microsoft Excel, and investment analysis tools.

  • Strong analytical, research, report-writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interpret market data and provide clear, commercially relevant investment recommendations.
