Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute rope-access tasks in accordance with approved procedures and access plans.
- Inspect ropes, harnesses, anchors, connectors and other access equipment before use.
- Support inspection, NDT, coating, welding, repair or specialist activities while maintaining safe positioning.
- Establish exclusion zones and maintain effective communication with the work team.
- Record work completed, defects identified, measurements and equipment status.
- Participate in rescue planning, toolbox talks, risk assessments and permit-to-work controls.
- Skills & Competencies
- IRATA/recognized rope-access competence appropriate to the role
- Working-at-height and rescue awareness
- Good understanding of inspection/maintenance activities relevant to the assignment
- Strong HSE discipline and physical fitness for the work environment
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant degree, HND, OND, trade qualification or recognized professional certification appropriate to the discipline and level.
- Relevant industrial, construction, oil & gas, marine or project experience is preferred.
- Role-specific statutory, technical, offshore, safety or professional certifications shall be provided where required by the client, site or applicable standards.
