Job Summary
- The Recruitment Officer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from identifying staffing needs and sourcing candidates to conducting interviews, coordinating selections, and supporting the onboarding of successful candidates.
- The role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to build effective relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external recruitment partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment and selection process from job requisition to offer and onboarding.
- Work with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop appropriate recruitment strategies.
- Prepare and post job advertisements on relevant job boards, social media platforms, and other recruitment channels.
- Source qualified candidates through job portals, professional networks, social media, referrals, and direct sourcing.
- Screen CVs and applications against job requirements and shortlist suitable candidates.
- Conduct telephone, virtual, and/or initial interviews with candidates.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain an updated database of candidates and recruitment records.
- Conduct reference and background checks where required.
- Prepare interview documentation, recruitment reports, and candidate assessments.
- Communicate recruitment decisions and feedback to candidates professionally.
- Prepare employment offers and coordinate pre-employment documentation.
- Support the onboarding process for newly hired employees.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate and employee information.
- Monitor recruitment timelines and ensure vacancies are filled within agreed deadlines.
- Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, professional organizations, and other talent sources.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Provide regular recruitment reports and updates to management.
- Contribute to employer branding and initiatives designed to attract high-quality talent.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a similar HR role.
- Experience managing the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Experience using job boards, recruitment platforms, and social media for candidate sourcing.
- Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent is an advantage.
