Job Summary




  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support strategic decision-making.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.



Key Responsibilities




  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.

  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

  • Monitor financial performance and provide insights to management.

  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage.

  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines



Preferred Skills:




  • Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP standards.

  • Experience with financial analysis and reporting.

  • Work Environment

  • Full-time position.

  • Office-based with potential for hybrid work depending on company policy.

  • Reports directly to the Finance Manager or CFO.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to collaborate across departments.
