Job Summary

• The Internal Control Officer will be responsible for ensuring a strong internal control environment. The position will work to foster standardization and consistency across the company's business processes and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely reporting on the internal control framework and control deficiencies


• Actively engage with internal and external auditors to ensure resolution of all relevant audit findings.


• Spot, assess, and address risks and translate it into impact analysis.

Requirements

• B.Sc/HND in Accounting


• ICAN qualification is an added advantage.


• Minimum of 5 years' practical experience, 2 of which must be from manufacturing companies.

Qualities:

• A critical thinker and highly organized.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Computer literate with the ability to navigate the entire Microsoft Office Suite.


• Strong understanding and experience with internal control frameworks.


• Strong oral and written communication skills


• Sound presentation skills.
