Position Description

• The Head, Internal Control will be responsible for ensuring a strong internal control environment through the development of policies and procedures andensuring their implementation and monitoring compliance.


• The position will work to foster standardization and consistency across the company's business processes and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely reporting on the internal control framework and control deficiencies


• Initiate action plans,monitor progress to address and resolve control deficiencies


• Actively engage with internal and external auditors to ensure resolution of all relevantaudit finding.


• Spot, assess and address risksand translate it into impact analysis


• Initiate and develop control policies.

Qualification

• B.Sc/HND in Accounting


• ICAN qualification is an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years practical experience of which must be from manufacturing companies

Qualities:

• A critical thinker and highly organized.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Computer literate with ability to navigate the entire platforms of Microsoft Office Suite.


• Strong understanding and experience with internal control frameworks·


• Strong oral and written communication skills


• Sound presentationskills.
