Job Description

The Journey

  • Own a portfolio of SMB partners end to end (their orders, GMV, AOV and profitability) and build account plans for the partners with the most potential.

  • Drive commercial growth: negotiate commissions and terms, secure promotions and new branches, and upsell Glovo Ads and in-app visibility products.

  • Run a high-tempo engagement rhythm: around 40 focused partner calls a day and 1–2 field days a week meeting partners face to face.

  • Lead with data: run weekly portfolio reviews in Looker, Google Sheets and Salesforce, spot trends early, and bring partners clear, data-backed business reviews.

  • Fix what costs partners orders: partner with Partner Operations, Live Ops and Courier Ops to improve availability, prep times, cancellations and delivery times.

  • Be the voice of the partner inside Glovo: share market insights and help shape new campaigns and products.

  • Protect the portfolio: spot at-risk partners early, resolve escalations end to end and keep churn low.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years in account management, sales, business development or merchant/vendor management, ideally in a marketplace, food delivery, fintech, e-commerce or FMCG business.

  • A track record of hitting commercial targets and negotiating with business owners. You handle objections and you close.

  • Strong analytical skills. You're confident in Excel/Google Sheets and dashboards and use data to decide where to spend your time.

  • Experience managing many accounts at once with discipline and follow-through.

  • Ownership and resilience. You solve problems end to end and do your best work in a fast-moving environment.

  • Excellent spoken and written English. You're based in Lagos or Abuja and happy to spend time in the field.

  • Knowledge of food delivery / q-commerce metrics and the Lagos or Abuja restaurant and retail scene.

  • Experience selling digital ads or promotions

  • SQL or Looker skills.

  • Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo or Pidgin.
