Job Summary



  • We are looking for an experienced, witty, strategicexperienced, witty, strategic, and passionate Social Media Executive to join our Digital Marketing team.

  • You will be responsible for creating gripping content, analyzing public feedback, and reporting on the effects of each key undertaking. 

  • You will also assist in creating social media campaigns and participate in the day-to-day management of the company’s social media properties.

  • The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a versatile creative writer, and a team player.

  • You will be an active participant in data collection and analysis to consistently improve the company’s social media practices and followership over time.


Job Responsibilities



  • Creating a monthly content and editorial calendar for the brand’s social media platforms.

  • Researching and developing social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.

  • Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement including responding to queries promptly, and promoting social media campaigns.

  • Scheduling copy for release at optimal times.

  • Analyzing and reporting on the effects of publications.

  • Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.

  • Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.

  • Exploring the potential value of social media sites that are not yet in our repertoire.

  • Willingness to work occasional overtime to achieve company goals for social media.

  • Wear many hats as you work with multiple teams to develop strategy, work with designers, write copy, manage social communities, and analyze data.

  • Help convert our brand fans into loyal customers with engaging, responsive, responsible, surprising, and captivating social media interactions.

  • Performing other related duties when needed.


Experience & Qualifications



  • B.Sc. Degree in Marketing, Communication Studies, Journalism, Creative Writing, or similar.

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience as a social media executive including planning and managing content in a corporate, agency setting, or a similar company.

  • Expert knowledge of all leading social media sites, including their algorithms and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.

  • Firm grasp of scheduling apps and their integrations.

  • In-depth understanding and knowledge of the processes surrounding the creation and distribution of paid advertisements.

  • Ability to create authoritative and persuasive texts; should be able to write in an engaging style

  • Experience using various analytics software e.g such as Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics, LinkedIn, Facebook Insights etc to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.

  • Graphics design skills required and must be able to use Photoshop, Corel Draw, and other graphic design apps.

  • Knowledge of pertinent engagement metrics.

  • Appreciation for novel insights and ideas.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to work occasional overtime to achieve company goals for social media.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
