Main Duties

Sample Processing &Testing:

• Process microbiology samples accurately, following laboratory procedures


• Identity microorganisms using both instrumental classical microbiology techniques

Records and Documentation:

• Enter all results accurately an the relevant


• Keep paperwork complete, accurate and up

Laboratory Up-keep:

• Monitor and manage consumable and equipment stock


• Maintain laboraory equipments


• Keep the lab clean, safe and well organised

Quality and Compliance:

• Report deviations, change controls and out-of-specification results time, tewing iscal procedures


• Make sure any corrective actions are followed through

Supervisory Cover:

• Cover for the Medical Laboratory Scientist when needed, to keep the service efficient and high quality

Requirements

• B.Sc/HND in Science Laboratory Technology, Microbiology


• Must be Registered with (M.L.S.C.N) as a Laboratory Technician.


• Experienced in Laboratory precedures


• Computer literate with effective communication, teamwork, organizational skills


• Applicant must reside in Abuja
