What is Social Media Cordinator?


A social media coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring a company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase sales


Job Objectives



  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content. Attend events and produce live social media content. Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.

  • They communicate daily about content creations, overseeing campaign schedules that determine success or failure by pulling key performance indicators.

  • Researching audience preferences and discover current trends

  • Creating engaging text, image and video content

  • Designing posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and creating buzz around new products


Job Requirements



  • Experience 1-3+ years in social media

  • Should know how to create content (take stories for social media)

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in a field that emphasizes on digital marketing.

  • Should be equipped with a laptop.


Skill Requirements



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power-Point, Outlook, Tally ERP system.

  • Proficiency in Photoshop/ Corel Draw and Canva

  • Strong Communicational Skills – Verbal & Written.

  • Numerical Skills – to be good in basic Mathematics.

  • Excellent phone and presentation skills.

  • Problem solving and team working skills.


Job Responsibilities



  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

  • Duties include the following, measurable in terms of time, cost, quality, or quantity.

  • Understanding KPI’s and defining them specifically for social media

  • Collaborating with influencers or copywriters to provide attractive and informative campaigns

  • Monitoring all social media content

  • Tracking the performance of the campaign

  • Keeping up with technologies used in social media

  • Using social media marketing tools

  • Tracking customer engagement and SEO to optimize campaign content

  • Establishing relationships/networks of industry professionals or influencers on social media

  • Hiring and training a motivated team

  • Keeping up with social media trends
