George Houston is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Oil Mill Mechanical Supervisor for our client in the Agricultural and Real Estate company with branches in Benin and Lagos, Nigeria. 

 JOB DUTIES 

• Oversee and evaluate regular and routine maintenance activities, including assigning work schedules; maintenance time and attendance records; monitoring, addressing and documenting performance issues.


• Schedule routine maintenance for Oil Milling equipments.


• Maintain detailed computerized records including maintenance and repair schedules.


• Assess problem equipment in emergency situations to determine if serviceable; dispatch staff to complete repairs.


• Send daily work force report to your Managing Director.


• Arrange and selecting in advance tools, materials and spares necessary for work execution and keep effective work order system and report.


• Pre-planned Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Procedures and Technical regulation.


• Troubleshoot, Repairs, Maintenance and Servicing of faulty equipments.


• Maintained discipline and adherence of workshop personnel to company's regulations at all times


• keep up to date inventory records, how and when there were used and need for replacement.


• Ensure the safety of workers and equipment in plant department or any site.


• Maintain equipment/tools inventory records on a monthly basis. This includes status, location, expenditures, maintenance/repair, parts, supplies and other related issues.


• Prepare weekly inspection plan, determine problems and allocate necessary maintenance schedules


• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations.

QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENT

• BSc/HND in Technical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related field.


• Minimum of 2 - 3years experience as Oil Mill Mechanical Supervisor in Agricultural sector


• Good oral and written communication skills


• Knowledge of mechanic repairs and installations


• Must be a self starter willing to live in the rural areas of our farm location


• Proven experience as production supervisor, preferably in an oil palm processing mill.

AGE: 30-35YEARS

SALARY: N 150,000

Must reside in Benin State
