The Engineering Manager will have many front-end engineering duties, they will also focus on assigning tasks to frontend engineering and technical personnel, overseeing Qore project logistics and ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

Cadre: This role functions within Qore and reports to the CTO.

What you’ll do

• Researching and developing designs and products.


• Ensuring products have the support of upper management.


• Supervising the work of multiple teams.


• Determining the need for training and talent development.


• Planning and executing strategies for completing projects on time.


• Providing clear and concise instructions to front-end engineering teams.


• Check their team’s work for technical accuracy.


• Coordinate work with other managers and staff.

Requirements

• 5 - 7 years of experience, BSc in Computer science or related, Android development experience, Web development experience.


• Nanodegree in Web and/or Mobile app development, Experience building fintech products.


• Ability to Give constructive criticism, think Strategically and prioritize tasks effectively for self and teams. 


• Skilled at building trust with teams and excellent communication skills. 


• Technology stack: Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Jetpack, POS application development, Reactjs, Typescript and Javascript, HTML & CSS, SASS.
