Key tasks and responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the transport drivers and assitant drivers and set schedules.


• Improving operational system, processes and best practices.


• Ensure all operations are carried out in a cost effective way.


• Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.


• Ensure all transport deliveries and pick-ups are completed in a timely manner and that the department operates efficiently.


• Evaluating budgets and expenditures.


• Calculation of destinations, duration, time and diesel needs.


• Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.


• Perform other related duties as may be assigned

Competency & Technical skill requirements

• Bachelors degree in Transport Management/logistics, supply chain, or relevant field. or a degree in a similar field.


• In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry.


• Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.


• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.


• Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Logistics Manager.


• Basic Math skill


• Conversant with Microsoft packages


• Must possess an excellent work ethic and be able to work with little or no supervision.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Exceptional interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work in a diverse
