The purpose of the Regional On-Trade Manager is to lead the On-Trade commercial and non-commercial channels and achieve results for their Region within Amber Drinks, covering all on premise activities including sales, marketing, and distribution. The Manager of On-Trade optimizes sales, distribution, and brand-appearance within the On-Premise channel and leads On-Trade Relationship officers, Marketing teams, Event officers and Brand promoters. Important responsibilities include: building strategies set forth by the national On Trade team; coaching direct reports; managing the regional On-Trade budget, annual goals, and 100% strategy execution in the On-Premise channel and more while developing productive business relationships; and building our plans as directed by CM and HOS.
Responsibilities
- Ensure strategies and activities are consistent with Amber guidelines
- Allocate resources to achieve the highest return on investment while ensuring we improve the relevance of our product in the On Premise channel
- Partner with the Regional Sales Managers to secure a smart and efficient coverage of assigned areas by the team of On-Trade Relationship officers
- Spend Four days a week in the field with your On-Trade Relationship Officers and Brand promoters
- Ensure team is performing optimally in accounts
- Assist the Distributors Managers in completing national on premise distribution strategies and plan
- Collaborative efforts to develop joint business plans with essential distribution partners
- Build, develop, and lead a somewhat geographically disparate team; ensure career development for entire team.
- Develop and motivate direct reports for increased productivity, with a focus on specific and direct feedback.
- Lead all Training curriculum delivery to direct and indirect reports within region
- Spend time with team in office and field to implement Amber standards and training programs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of demonstrated ability to lead a team towards established goals
- On Trade industry knowledge
- Experience with markets, sales and distribution, consumer behaviour and competitor activity in FMCG context
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- English, additional languages an advantage
- Travel 40-50%
