Descriptions

• Responsible for the procurement of all office and production supplies


• Responsible for the outsourcing of services i.e. engagement of contractors e.g. technicians, mechanics, etc


• Responsible for the development of protocols for the use and maintenance of equipment


• such as vehicles, generators, etc


• Directing water systems operations ; as well as inspecting distribution systems


• Accurately reading gauges, dials and other instruments that depict and/or record data.


• Inspecting, servicing and repairing water system equipment and facilities, including pumps, valves, motors, filters and meters


• Overseeing and performing general plant maintenance work


• Scheduling the water meter routes, inspection, and system maintenance.


• Assisting in the preparation of annual Water Department budget.


• Assisting in disaster preparedness.


• Any other duties as may be assigned by management

Requirements

• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree / Higher Diploma in Engineering or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience; with a professional certification in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management


• Must be a computer literate


• Good Communication and inter personal relationship skills


• Must be resident in OR willing to relocate to Keffi
