  • The Acclivial Travellers Escapade Limited (TATEL) is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Tour Consultant to join our team.

  • As a Tour Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expert advice to clients seeking travel and tour packages.

  • Your primary goal will be to create memorable and enjoyable travel experiences for our clients while ensuring their needs and preferences are met.


Responsibilities



  • Interact with clients to understand their travel preferences, requirements, and budget constraints.

  • Provide recommendations and advice on suitable travel destinations, tour packages, accommodations, transportation, and other travel-related services.

  • Prepare and present detailed itineraries to clients, including information on attractions, activities, and costs.

  • Make reservations for flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel-related services.

  • Coordinate with airlines, hotels, local guides, and other service providers to ensure seamless travel arrangements.

  • Assist clients with visa applications, travel insurance, and any necessary documentation.

  • Stay updated on travel trends, new destinations, and industry developments to provide up-to-date information to clients.

  • Handle client inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote tour packages and attract new clients.

  • Conduct research and gather feedback to continuously improve the quality of tour packages and services offered.

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards related to the travel industry.


Requirements



  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND in relevant fields.

  • 1-year proven work experience as a Tour Consultant or in a similar role within the travel industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of various travel destinations, attractions, and tour packages.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Strong marketing skills.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in itinerary preparation and reservation bookings.

  • Proficiency in using computer reservation systems and travel planning software.
