We are recruiting a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Officer to join our client, a prominent medical device distribution company based in Lagos. As a Logistics Officer, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the logistics operations to ensure the seamless and efficient movement of goods and materials.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management


• Plan and schedule shipments and deliveries in a timely manner


• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and transporters to ensure efficient logistics processes


• Monitor and track the movement of goods to ensure on-time delivery


• Maintain accurate records of inventory, logistics activities, and performance metrics


• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements


• Identify areas for process improvement and implement cost-saving measures


• Resolve any issues or delays in logistics operations in a timely manner


• Ensure the safety and security of goods during transportation and storage

Requirements:

• OND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field


• Proven work experience as a Logistics Officer or in a similar role


• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, procedures, and best practices


• Proficient in using logistics management software and systems


• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills


• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills


• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy


• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
