Max Drive, a company in the transportation/trucking/railroad industry, is looking for a passionate Social Media Manager to join its team. As a Social Media Manager, you will create and execute social media strategies that will help promote Max Drive's brand image and products across various digital platforms. The company is dedicated to making mobility safer, affordable, accessible, and sustainable in Africa and Emerging Markets, and as a Social Media Manager, you will have a chance to contribute to this mission. This role reports to the Marketing Manager and is based in Lagos, Nigeria.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase Max Drive's brand awareness and engagement across various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.

  • Create and publish engaging content on social media channels that speak to Max Drive's target audience.

  • Manage all social media profiles, monitor comments and messages, and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to create marketing campaigns that integrate with social media channels.

  • Analyze social media data and insights to track performance and make data-driven decisions to improve social media strategies.

  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices and provide insights to the team regarding social media developments that may affect Max Drive's brand or marketing strategies.

  • Manage budgets and resources allocated for social media campaigns.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field.

  • 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in the transportation industry.

  • Proficiency in the use of social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Sprout Social.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.

  • Ability to create visually appealing social media content using graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools such as Google Analytics.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
